This Download contains PowerPoint presentations of the Northumbria Community's Daily Office to aid its use in churches, homes - anywhere that folk gather to 'say office'.
There are folders for Morning, Midday and Evening Prayer and each of the seven Complines (brief contemplative liturgies to end each day of the week), plus folders for each of the elements within Morning, Midday and Evening Prayer (so that they can also be used separately if required).
For users who do not project from PowerPoint but use other software, all the slides are also provided as jpg files so that they can be imported.
The words are presented (using Papyrus typeface) on each slide in a pale yellow colour on a black background; with a simple presentation to ensure that it works on as many different software packages and versions as possible.
A folder of 17 possible background pictures has been provided on the disc should you wish to create your own slides using them (or you could use your own pictures of course). The words of the prayers and liturgies are supplied in rtf files for this purpose (but not for printing out: see Daily Office Cards and Complines for printed versions).
